Hey all!

So I wanted to ask if you guys had any books that you've read that really changed the way you look at things. Or you just fell in love with it and thats always something that you go back to. Books are often the easiest way to lose yourself and forget about whats bothering you so I want to challenge you to find that one book that lets you just fall away into your own world(:

If you don't like reading, then do this same thing with a song or something similar(: it really gets you thinkig and helps you to realize a lot about yourself(: just think about it alright?(:

Oh my gosh.. Too Long!!

I just realized that it's been a good three months since I've been on here. I'm not going to make any excuses but it's really been hard for me to do much of anything lately. I'm back at school and constantly on baby duty for my older sister's child. That alone is the BEST form of birth control that I have ever even heard of. I was already iffy on kids but watching my niece just solidified that big ball of "NOPE" for me. I apparently really really do not like kids..

I really didn't realize what an impact that this made on me though. Even after I left for a bit I was thinking about what I could do for people and going out of my way for others. That realization made me really happy like you have no idea haha. But I do need to come back for that extra "oomf" that this gives me(:

Oh and this is something that I wanted to share because it makes me really happy and I just really wanted to share it with someone haha. I won't be offended if you skip this paragraph either(: I have a boyfriend :D we started dating September 1st(: He is really one of my main sources of motivation for anything I do. He fully supports me like a lot of others seem not to, but its for all the right reasons. If it's going to make me happier then he'll support me as much as he can. Also that I'll always have him if I doubt myself or anything like that. He's pretty much this insanely sweet, caring, attractive (of course I had to add that at least once hehe) gentleman. 

And in upcoming news, homecoming is soon and I have a dress that makes me feel sooo beautiful(: I think the reason that I'm freaking out about this dress so much is that I never really find dresses attractive on myself. For about 7 years I completely swore off dresses too. That's how bad it got. Now the only thing that I have to worry about is if I'll still be able to go at all ._. That thought of not going after all this worries me..

Well I'm going to head off for now(: but I'll be back because I really did miss this place! I love you all haha(: Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have fantastic amazingly wonderful days!! Even though it is Monday...

I went AWOL..

I'm sorry everyone. I got sidetracked with baby duty (my niece), friends, family, and school (I'm still upset about that) I'm guessing some of you are already back in school. To you I say, I'm sorry. I don't start until the 28th.

Now all I can say for my long absence is please don't hate me.. Everytime I would think about posting, something else came up. With school coming back things will actually become a schedule again so I can post regularly for once haha (:

How was/are you're guys' summers? Mine has been fairly good. I wanna hear from you again! I love you all!! :D

Getting Hurt

Alright. This subject is one that some may say I'm an expert in. Getting hurt emotionally or physically is never fun. It sucks alot but it is a neccesary evil so that we learn and become stronger. Now comes the part where I give you advice that you've already heard but I really NEED you guys to follow this advice.

1. Find someone that you can vent to.
It helps majorly. I'm here if you need me.

2. Find someone to get advice from.
Once again a major helper. Once again I'm here.

3. Never keep everything bottled up until it becomes too much and you break down.
Its even worse than it sounds. Trust me.

4. Never talk to the person you're angry with when you're still angry.
Talk to them once you've calmed down a bit. Tell them thats what you're doing too.

5. Let it out.
I don't care what anyone else says. If you need to cry, then cry. If you need to yell, then find a pillow and yell it out. If you need to punch, take that handy pillow and punch until the feathers go flying.

We all need to take this advice because it will help SO much. Please do it.

I'm Back!

Hey all! I've been gone for a while I know!! I'm back though(: So here's what's happened to me lately:
Got hit by a firework, Consoled many heartbroken friends, gotten awkward tan lines, and made new friends. That's just in July too. I'm really out a lot this summer and when I'm home I have time to eat and sleep then I'm out and about again. What have your summers been like? I hope they're fun! That's the most important thing is having fun(:

Summer Stuff

Hey guys! Sorry I'm late on the post. So in my last post I asked what you guys were doing this summer and I got some emails filled with fun stuff. Just thought I would share them with you all haha :) Don't worry I've already asked the people so they know I'm saying it but there won't be any names anyways.

And a lot more but I don't want to drone on, these were the main things that people said to me. First Summer Post

Woohoo! I'm on Summer break! Too bad I can't do anything right now :\ My hand started swelling and now my parents won't let me go anywhere until it goes down. Woohoo...

So in the last few weeks of school I started thinking.. I want to know your guys' plans for this summer. What are all you lovely people doing? I have no clue so I may steal ideas from you all ;) just saying! So comment or email me here to tell me! I'll make a post (no names) that says all the stuff everyone plans on doing. That will probably be on Tuesday. 

I'm using songs today because I want to and because I haven't in a while :P There's 2 songs so it's not a whole lot haha :)

Dr. Seuss was More than a Kids Author

Hey All! today is my last day of school and I'm in science right now haha :P I just finished my last final *yayy* and I have no clue what to do because I'm stuck in school until noon >_< ugh! Another hour of nothing! At least after this I can sleep in until noon and won't have to worry about being late teehee. Well as the title suggests, this is a Dr. Seuss post. 

I LOVE Dr. Seuss' quotes sooo much! One of them is going to be my senior quote. I'm not sure which one though.. Hmm decisions decisions.. lol! Well this is going to include a lot of pictures so lets just get to those shall we?

Last Week of School

So my last week of school starts Monday. You all know what that means.. finals. HOORAY!! Note my sarcasm? So I once again apologize for my sporadic at best posting. It will get better in the weeks to come! Do any of you guys and girls have stories on your final or last weeks/days of school? My school's graduation ceremony was Saturday so I spent most of that day at grad parties and crying. It was eventful.. Well I guess I should get to the purpose of this post huh? Late Memorial Day

Hey all, sorry about not posting in forever. Its the end of the school year (I have 9 days left) and so everything is hectic. Last minute papers and projects, getting those long forgotten assignments turned in and yes of course the ones we all hate the most.. Finals. I hate those tests.. the things you understood are never there and the things you never paid attention to are always the ones that are on there the most. I learned something though! When taking notes, pretend you know absolutely nothing. It help lol :)

Well!! This is a late Memorial Day post so.. onward! Yesterday I spent a lot of the day wallowing in pity and crying. I just recently lost my grandfather who fought in wars and I have to admit, I cried. A lot. But I realized something, yes we are supposed to miss the people that were lost, but Memorial day isn't about wallowing in self pity or any kind of pity. It's about remembering the people that were lost and honouring them. Honour them by showing that you aren't taking the causes that they gave their lives for aren't being wasted by the people. I've lost countless family members and friends that joined the military. Some of them I'm no longer sure if they are alive or dead. 

This song and video were one that I watched repeatedly yesterday. I want you to watch it and just let the message of it sink in.

Changes Made

I changed the title of the blog to something that someone suggested, "Falling Together". I liked it and I think I'm going to keep it this way. :) This post is a few minutes after my story i promised you so, just scroll down to see that. Sorry if that caused problems for anyone, I just wanted to make a few changes to the blog. Everything's done now, so no more problems.. hopefully lol :) I'm done, go ahead and continue down to the story I posted a few minutes ago :P

Story Time

Today at my school we had a motivational speaker. Normally those are just people that chant the same things "You can do anything you set your mind to." those people. Not this guy. This guys was amazing. His name is Houston Kraft and he was one of the coolest guys that I've ever met. He started out by saying he was on the junior national laser tag team and that he is a professional hug-giver. If you ever need a hug look him up. His words by the way. He told us stories of his life and was equal parts funny and professional. That kept even the class clowns focused. His 'slogan' if you will was, Choose Love. He said that our lives are ruled by fear and that instead of giving in and falling in line with everyone else because we're scared, don't let fear take hold and keep you down or make you do things that you know you'll regret. Do what you think is right. Be who you want to be and don't let fear of others drag you down.

We all have enough fear in our lives. Show someone that you care, show someone the aren't alone. Show them love, give them someone to talk to. This is what Houston said, and this is exactly what I'm trying to do with everyone who ever sees this blog. I want to talk to you and give you someone to talk to. I care. Honestly I really do care.

Hey guys!! Long day I'm sorry. This was supposed to be a good morning post. Sorry about that. But hey! I'm posting :P This is a song that I love to death and if you've heard it, then you're my new bestie lol :) It has a really strong message about how society fears and dislikes teens and things of that sort. It really is a good listen.

Good Morning

Good morning! I'm just going to tell you all right now, I am NOT a morning person. After having spring break and being able to sleep in until noon, waking up at 7 in the morning is awful. If you're a morning person, props to you for embracing the hours of the day I deem illegal to be alive.

Problems

My computer decided to freak out on me today so this is the first time I've been able to get on blogger and post something since this morning. I know I told you guys that I would post through the day but well, that apparently wasn't going to happen. My apologies to all of you.

I have absolutely no excuses for not posting for the last few days other than forgetfulness. I'm really sorry guys. I hope that you've all had good weekends so far. This Weekend

I don't know about you guys but this weekend is going to be fun! I have a track fundraiser, a NASCAR race going on, then I have Wrestlemania, then my family is going out to catch up with an old family friend. Now most of you are like, "How is all that fun?" I'm weird like that.. I think its fun :P Anyways! 

I'm really sorry I didn't post this morning. I was at a bonfire last night and my hair smelled smoky this morning (and not in a good way.) So I had to wash it. And since my hair has a mind of its own, it went cray-cray. I'm serious right now. It went full on bat-crap insane. SO I had to spend my morning tamin the wild jungle I call my hair, and then once I was done I thought, "There's something missing." I went through my morning ritual and remembered you guys! So I'm sorry. I'll beg and grovel for forgiveness. :) I'm sure you guys don't care about my life all that much so I'm just going to give you a song and a picture and let ya be!

Story Time

Sorry I'm late all!! Today has been hectic. But that's life :) So I thought I might share a story with you guys..

A few weeks ago my mom went to Illinois for the week so it was just my dad, my sister, and me at home. Well we go to walmart and we end up buying SPAM (my mom never bought it but we LOVED it). We get home and we have one of those soda streamers where you make the soda yourself. My sister makes one then the CO2 runs out, right after we come home from walmart where they refill those for you. I fill up my bottle with water as my sister replaces the CO2. Well we have the water cooler thing from Culligan, when I finish filling my bottle, the water runs out in the 5 gal. container. My dad gets another one from outside and its completely frozen. There's nothing but ice in that 5 gallon container. Looks like no one's getting water from that for a while. We finally sit down to watch a movie when Mom calls Dad saying "I was worried about you guys." It's the first day she's gone and we're already going to die. There's ice in the Culligan water, the soda streamer died after we came home, and we bought the one thing we're never supposed to.. SPAM. OH GOSH WHAT HAVE WE DONE?!

That was a very interesting week.. This picture sums up that week pretty well :)

First Post!

Hey Everyone! My Name is Sammy and this blog is something that's been an idea in my head for a long time. I've been through a lot in my short 14 years. I know a lot of older people who read this will say I'm exaggerating but trust me, I'm not.

This blog is for anyone that wants to read pick-me-up stories, inspirational quotes, pictures, and music. All the things that have helped me throughout my time and things that almost every teen needs at one point or another.
